Brief Answer:
Frequent, small and balanced feed is needed

Detailed Answer:
hello,

Thanks for choosing this platfom

At one year of age the child should be offered food from the family pot.
Frequent(5 times a day) small feed(one katori) is needed.
The parent should wash his/her hand properly every time before the feed.
Babies at this age need feeds having combination of carbohydrate, protein and fat with minerals & multivitamins.
You may give mashed bread/rice(source of carbohydrate) mixed in thick dal(source of protein) with added ghee to make it calorie dense.Add cooked vegetables also to meet the demand of minerals and vitamins. You may also use milk instead of dal to make the mixture.A avriety of other items like sooji/oats/dalia can also be given.Give mashed potato, apple and other fruits in between the major serving as snacks. You may also give egg(if nonveg) to the baby as he ia now one year old.

A proper balanced diet helps in better physical and mental growth of the baby.

I hope this would help.
With regards
