Suggest Ideal Dosage Of Oxycodone

Question: I have 10 MG oxycodone. NP on one side. 12 on the other. they are pink. can they be cut in half? Not sure if they are IR or ER as I don't have my label or know dosage.

If the oxycodone is a tablet (not a capsule) and if it is scored (has a linear depression running down the middle) then it is ok to be cut in half.

Most oxycodone tablets that are 10 mg have this score mark.

If you don't have the label, do you know for sure that it is 10 mg? Because if you don't know the dosage, it is unsafe to take a medication.
