Brief Answer:
It is advisable to lose 0.5 to 1 kg of weight per week.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr. XXXXXXX

Thanks for your question.

Noted your concern.

Considering your Height & weight your BMI (Body Mass Index) is 31.55 which comes in Class 1 Obesity category.

It is the fat deposited around trunk which is considered as bad for health.
So weight loss should come from losing fat and not from losing proteins (muscle).

Usually it is recommended to lose weight at the rate of 0.5 to 1 kg per week, which comes from burning fat.
Targeting excess weight loss may lead to dehydration and muscle wasting.

From today till 15th December you will have about 55 days ie. 8 weeks, so your weight loss target of 8kgs by 15th December can be appreciated.

You should consult near by Nutrition specialist who can assess your daily calorie intake and can plan calorie restricted diet (500 to 1000 kcal less than current calorie consumption) considering your food habits.

Along with calorie restriction gradual increase in exercise is advisable starting with 30 to 45 min of moderate level physical exertion at least 3 to 5 days per week.

Along with this continue your antidiabetic medicines with freguent blood glucose monitoring consulting your diabetologist.

Hope this helps you.
