Question : wondering about what type of screening besides cbc can be used to find out if there is a tumor some where in your body

cbc is not much useful

Cbc test is not a useful test to detect tumor except for some blood cancers. There are other tests for screening for various cancers.

For example, pap smears for cervical cancer, mammogram for breast cancer, colonoscopy for colon cancer, PSA for prostate cancer, etc.

I've had a series of painful lumps on my back lower left back end for my rib cage dr can i have a tumor and have normal blood test levels and i also currently on hcv treatment, and my doc told me that i have a hemangioma which was .2 cm last year and has grown to 1.4 cm in 12 months... I'm on harvoni 12 week regiment 40 days today

However, these painful lumps are unlikely to be harmful tumor unless increasing progressively in size. And hemangioma is totally benign. Not to worry about that.
