Detailed Answer:
Hello,
meclizine is an antihistamine drug and one of the most common side effects of such drugs is sleepiness! Other common (or less common) side effects may include fatigue, blurring of vision, dry mouth, confusion, etc. Ondasetron is usually better tolerated and your wife's symptoms are probably unrelated to it.
Since you've mentioned anxiety and depression, please take into account that some of the drug used for these conditions may interact with meclizine and cause increased sleepiness. The same applies for other central nervous system depressants like alcohol for example. If she's able to communicate properly, breath normally and she just feels sleepy and tired then let her sleep it off. Otherwise she may have to be examined by a doctor. Another thing to keep in mind is that since she probably had nausea and/or vomiting (I guess... you haven't mentioned the reason she took the pills) then other disorders may contribute to her symptoms like a low sodium level. So if there's anything more than just some sleepiness, time will make the side effects wear off.
In case things get worse (like if she can't respond, she breath abnormally, she's confused, has a newly acquired headache, serious muscle weakness, etc) then a visit to the emergency room will be required.
