Suggest Medication For Cough And Cold For A Person With Seizure Disorder
Question: My mother is 56 years old.
She has had an angioplasty in February and a seizure disorder.
She has Cold cough and headache for the last two days.
She is at a location where a specialist doctor is not available currently.
I need help with information on what medicines can be given to her for
1. Cold
2. Cough
3. Toothaches
4. Fever
In case we don't have access to doctors.

It seems like she is having either a Throat infection or lung infection . Throat or lung infection could be due to Virus or bacterial.
It needs to be differentiated between Viral infection or Bacterial infection as the treatment is different for both.
I would advise you to get a test called Throat swab culture sensitivity and Sputum Culture sensitivity test done and revert back . ( Hope there is facility for these test )
Till then she can use paracetamol 2-3 times a day , do salt water gargling , drink hot water , steam inhalation 2-3 times a day , avoid oily food and non veg food and avoid citrus fruits.
