Brief Answer:
Nitrendipin 5mg effective in bp management, depending on your other meds
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
Effective would be for example. a combination of 3: a sartan like telmisartan/ losartan plus a calcium channel blocker like nitrendipin plus a diuretic like HCT (Hydrochlorothiazide). Please let me know the meds you are taking already, so I can be more specific in your case.
Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarifications you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards

I'm still taking those 3 meds that I described the carvedilol and benzerpril and amplodipine..
Brief Answer:
Benazepril dosage to be set on 40 mg
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
thank you for specifying the medication you are taking. Sinse carvedilol and amlodipine are already on maximum dose it i advisable to double the benazepril dosage to 40 mg. Please discuss this with your local doc. This will very likely get your bp below 140/90 as desired.
