Whenever there is inflammation in body a hormone named Prostaglandins is secreted locally by cells.Non steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine inhibits cyclo-oxygenase enzyme which inhibit local production of prostaglandin hence i would suggest you to take serratiopeptidase 10 mg thrice daily.
It acts at visceral level and would help to settle down inflammation.
Anti inflammatory should be given with antibiotic therapy for optimal results.
