Suggest Medication For Knee Pain
Question: Hi,
My wife is suffering from a little knee pain from yesterday. The pain is on left side of the left knee. She feels pain when she walks or bends the knee. Can you sugget some gel? She is 5 weeks pregnant and currently taking Duphastone tablets. Also she occasionally breastfeeds first baby.
Her age is 29 years.

giving her analgesic tablets orally should be avoided as she is pregnant. at the most she can take paracetamol,if the pain is severe.
she can use liniments like arnopen or other ayurvedic herbal gels for local application.
allopathic gels should be avoided as the drug gets absorbed in the body and cause adverse effects on the baby.
hot fomentation and using a compression bandage will help.
