Suggest Medication For Persistent Cough And Fever In A Child

Question: My 11year 6months son is having fever [around 101 degree] with cold/cough since night so i gave him imol syrup temporarily, but after 6hours again he had fever so i did not repeat imol syrup instead i had given combiflam syrup so the fever is not there now as i have given this around an hour back. Could you please let me know the reason for the same with correct line of treatment as he is having headache with severe body pain & dry cough/cold.

shall i continue combiflam or not along with Belladona and Phytolacca 200 and how long it will take to cure completelyit as there is no inflammation inside tonsils and there is no pain/redness while drinking water.

he is very thirsty most of the time. Please help with the reason along with detail line of treatment as he is not attending school.
Also helps with do and donots.

Children are prone to catch cough and cold during the changing weather. It is followed by the headache, fever and cough. If not treated correctly it leads to dry cough (whooping cough). Suggest you to take care of your children during the changing weather.
I am suggesting some homeopathic medicine and suggest you to start as prescribed.
1 Phytolacca Dec Q 20 drops with half cup of water three times in day
2 R1 20 drops with half cup of water three times in day
3 Tuberculinum bov 1M 2 drops once in day
4 Calcarea Carb 1M 2 drops once in day

medicine 3 and 4 should be taken on alternate days

Avoid Cold thing/ drinks, cold exposure, Air condition

Take medicine for 15 days and revert back.

Just noticed, although he is not having pain/redness or drinking water but from inside his tonsils are enlarged. Please advice.

I have prescribed following medicine. The action of medicine are as follows
1 Phytolacca Dec Q works in case of tonsillitis, fever and Headache
2 R1 20 works in case of inflammation of mucous membrane.
3 Tuberculinum bov 1M and Calcarea Carb 1M help to strengthen the immunity of body. Medicine would also help to save the baby against catching cold.

i have already prescribed the medicine for tonsil. so no need to revise the medicine. Suggest you to start as prescribed.
