Suggest Medication For Severe Haemorrhoids

default
Posted on Tue, 5 Jan 2016
Question: I have piles/hermorrhoid since 2013, though as of now there is no such bleeding and severe pain but some 2/3 days ago while I was riding bike, the external hermorrhoid which existed like a lump near the anus without healing since 2013 was broken and it protruded outside now. I am living in a rural area and so I can't go to doctor easily. Through a friend I learnt that VENUSMIN tablet is good for hermorrhoid. Kindly advise its required dose to be taken and how long should I use it. Also give me other necessary prescription.

Actually I don't want surgery because not very long ago I had a hernia surgery too. Can't it be healed without surgery? If there are means kindly prescribe me here the right medicine and I will try with all I can. Here in my place we can't find doctor, only 2/3 small pharmacies available. Please mention the name of the medicine that I required to take and I will take it. Thank you Doctor

Brief Answer:
Consult a Surgeon please.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your feedback.
Noted that you had hernia surgery done recently.
No, fistulas do not heal with any medicine and hence surgery is the only option. The options depend upon whether you have high anal or low anal fistula.
I would advise you to visit the Surgeon who operated you for hernia.
This will help first to see the level of the fistula and then only further management can be accomplished.
Prescription medicines can not be written online.
Anyways, you need a Surgeon's opinion and further treatment.
