Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query and I have understood it. I have also seen the photograph.
You seem to have Hereditary Hair Loss which is also known as Male Pattern Androgenetic Alopecia.
Minoxidil and Finasteride are approved remedies for Androgenetic Alopecia. They would arrest further progression of thinning and hair fall and even reverse early loss.
5% Minoxidil rather than 2% Minoxidil is approved for males.
Apart from Minoxidil, Oral Finasteride is also approved for Androgenetic Alopecia. Together they are produce additive results as compared to minoxidil alone.
Finasteride is specific for this type of hair loss; it specifically inhibits the enzyme 5- alpha reductase present in hair follicles. This enzyme converts serum testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is the main culprit responsible for thinning and hair loss in androgenetic alopecia.
Treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia is long term. Effects are usually evident in 3-6 months and are maximum at about 1-2 years.
The main goal of treatment is to arrest further progression of hair loss Or slow down the rate of hair loss. Therefore earlier therapy is begun better are the results.
Oral Finasteride just like minoxidil is a prescription product, I would suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your region for the needful.

Currently I am in UAE, In 20 Days i am going to XXXXXXX and meet Doctor.

You can expect good improvement to 5% minoxidil and oral finasteride
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Rather than using 2% minoxidil topical solution you must switch to 5% minoxidil topical solution. This higher strength of minoxidil is approved for use in males. Use it twice daily at the affected area.
If I was the treating doctor I would have also added Oral finasteride, once daily in addition to topical 5% minoxidil.
In the Image that you have posted I can see that you have decreased hair density at the crown (vertex) part of the scalp and in my view it is within reversible limits. You can expect good improvement to topical 5% minoxidil and oral finasteride.
Treatment is long term. Results are usually evident within 3-6 months and continue to improve and are maximum at 1-2 years.
You may visit a doctor either in UAE Or when you come to XXXXXXX for the needful.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Topical Minoxidil is absolutely safe.
Use it 1 ml twice daily, morning and evening.
Minoixidil is a vasodilator; using in more than the recommended amount of 1 ml can cause headache in some.
Minoxidil is available as a solution in an alcohol base. Therefore, it can cause dryness and scaling in the scalp. That is why it is important to shampoo and clean the scalp daily while using minoxidil.
Oral finasteride is approved for use in androgenetic alopecia. It is absolutely safe.
Only 1%-2% of patients may notice decreased libido while on finasteride but this is a temporary side effect and usually goes away on its own on continued treatment.
