
Suggest Natural Remedies For Insomnia

Question: I'm having a hard time staying asleep past 4am. I fall asleep easily and think I sleep soundly through in the night, but at 4am my brain turns on and I feel wide awake. It's hard to get 8-9 hours of sleep with this "internal alarm."
A recent organic acid test indicated that my serotonin may be low. I'm now taking 50mg of 5-HTP daily, but it's not helping.
Any thoughts on a natural, non-addictive sleep aid are appreciated. Thanks very much.
