BMI 39 diagnosed with ms 4 weeks ago age 41 on the medifast diet lost about 45 pounds in the past 8 months was active up to 3 months ago. I am on high blood pressure pills hydrochloride 25 mg. I own my own insurance company stressful job mentally but not physical. On a 5 day steroid treatment which has been helping. The case of MS is mild one elision on my brain stem the elisions in my brain have when back in remission on kemper which is antiseziure medication 2000mg. Please advise thank you

Thanks for your reply.
As you are diagnosed recently earlier initiation of treatment will give positive results.
Ayurvedic treatment for MS include diet , yoga and Ayurvedic therapies like panchakarma (external body massage with medicated oil) and oral medication will help in nourish and strengthen the nervous system.

dietary suggestion:
1. Avoid GLUTEN,all REFINED SUGAR,DAIRY PRODUCTS and MARGARINES.Avoid CAFFEINE, ALCOHOL and SMOKING,

Have fish and seafoods.

2. Use olive oil or coconut oil for cooking and salads.
3. Whenever possible eat foods as fresh as possible, not refrigerated or frozen.
4. Eat raw vegetables, such as shredded cabbage, raw grated carrots and beetroot.
5. Eat lots of dark green leafy salads, legumes, nuts and seeds.
6. Eat fresh fruits every day.

Pranayama or yogic breathing exercise is one thing that invariably helps a multiple sclerosis sufferer. Certain recommended yoga posture will help the brain and spinal cord rejuvenation.

Panchakarma(external therapy):Multiple sclerosis patients treated with ’Sneha vasthi”, ‘pizhichil’ and ‘sirodhara’ – three highly rejuvenative and healing treatments for the nerves have shown marked results.

Depends on your constitution oral medication will be advised.
