Suggest Ointment For Burns On Inner Thighs
Desitin, Zinc oxide ointment
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
I am sorry you are having this trouble. Desitin or zinc oxide ointment may help heal the irritation and also act as a skin protective barrier to prevent future irritations.
Have you tried other brands of adult protection? It's possible the Depends are not fitting you adequately. Another possibility is to have undershorts fitted with an elastic leg cuff so that it further acts as a barrier or perhaps holds the disposables in place better. Perhaps a tailor can help with this.
Have you been evaluated as to the cause of your incontinence? If you have a urologist, I would put the question to him or her of what disposable undergarments he/she recommends since you are having problems with the Depends holding in the urine.
I hope this information helps.
I have a bladder stone that has to be crushed and voided, preferably before it grows to two pounds like the last time! I'm blessed because kidney stones just pop out of me, causing no agony before or after, but it makes me incontinent AND careless about eliminating them.
I'm going back to UCLA Medical Center, where I had a genius surgeon the last time who made me believe that 'minimally invasive surgery' isn't just a marketing term. I was also prescribed a special kind of phosphorus to take to keep them from forming: $200 I couldn't afford then, but can now.
God bless you. I'm off to get some zinc oxide or XXXXXXX at RiteAid.
Skin care
Detailed Answer:
Now I am getting the picture of what is going on.
If possible, try to have a soak in the tub once a day to get off the urine irritants. Then dry your skin well and if possible, allow you skin to have some exposure to air without any garments on. I know this may be difficult to arrange, but washing off the irritants and exposure to air can go a long way to healing the skin and preventing skin break down. Then, reapply Zinc Oxide or Desitin ointment to protect the skin from the urine.
I hope you have resolution to your current stone soon.
Have a good night!
Good!

I'm glad to hear you are doing so.
If you have no further questions for me right now, you can go ahead and close this discussion. If in the future you have further questions and have a subscription to HCM, and want it routed to me, just put my name at the beginning of the new question and I'll answer.
I hope everything goes will with getting this stone treated!
