Suggest Painless And Guaranteed Contraceptive Methods

Question: Hello Dr
I have a few questions concerning my breast.
1 Quite a lot of hair is growing around the breast (not only limited to the areola region).
2 One areola is significantly bigger than the other
3 small bumps are evident especially on the left breast. ( I have a picture but unsure how to attach it)

Please advice if all of the above is normal.

I'm also seeking advice concerning contraceptive methods suitable for me. I have had a hernia and abdominaplasty 5 months ago and two C-sections. My specialist advised that I can no longer fall pregnant therefore I would like to explore contraceptive options I have, especially those with minimal pain and guaranteed results as I was strictly advised to avoid becoming pregnant.

Thank you
doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I appreciate your concern but all findings stated by you are perfectly usual and hairs and size of areola increases with each pregnancy.
As you must have read earlier left breast is normally bigger than right many times.
But in case difference between both of them increases significantly in a short span of time then you should visit a surgeon and get it examined properly.
As regards contraception is concerned there are two good methods for you -
Copper T insertion or
Oral pills.
Both are very safe and almost negligible failure rates bit the choice depends on you.
Pills are easy to take, available on the counter and easily reversible but have to be taken daily and on the other hand CuT needs to be inserted by a gynecologist but free from daily Botheration but doesn't suit everyone as some females tend to have more bleeding in periods and lower abdomen pain in initial months of CuT insertion.

Thank you for your response.

Regarding hair around my areolas, can it be linked to hormonal imbalances as I am getting them on my chin and cheeks as well?

How does one get tested for hormone functioning? What kind of test should I have?

Brief Answer:
tests advised

Detailed Answer:
If you are having them on chin and cheeks as well then definitely you need work up.
Get the following tests - FSH, LH, TSH, DHEAS, Serum testosterone and Fasting blood sugar.
Though there is nothing much to worry but if one can afford then why not to have full work up so as to have a clear picture.
These are simple hormone tests and will just require one blood sample and better if you get them done on day 2 of your periods.
