Suggest Precautionary Measures To Be Followed While Exercising Outdoors
Question: Hi
I have a query regarding workout style.
I have started brisk walking (1.5 hours) and it's been 12days now, the point is that I walk on road.
So my query is that safe for knees. I take precautions while walking, I don't roll my foot on road.
Or is it unsafe to brisk walk on road whether I take any precautions?
If it is unsafe, then how much time will it take to show negative signs on my knees.
Thanks and Regards

Brief Answer:
Gradually increase the time.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
It is always recommended that you start walking and gradually increase the time by 15 minutes every week. You should walk on a straight road not a steep one and wear proper shoes with an arch support to avoid any problems. If the walking that you are already doing is stressful for your knees then it will start showing in 3-4 weeks.
I hope this answers your query.
