Suggest Procedure For An Abortion With Mifepristone And Misoprostol
Question: I am 4 weeks pregnant and bought one MTP kit that should be enough right? I took the mifepristone pill orally 24 hours ago and no blood has come out of me. Does the blood come out after I take the misoprostol pills (4 of them). Is that normal? When do I take the 4 misoprostol pills? How do I take them misoprostol pills vaginally or orally? Should I get another kit or is one enough for being three or four weeks pregnant?
Brief Answer:
Ultrasound scan required
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns.
Pregnancy cannot be just 3 weeks. Have you confirmed y urine test if you are pregnant?
Please get an ultrasound scan to identify location of pregnancy and size. Probably you are not pregnant and hence no bleeding.
Ideally I advice my patients to insert misoprostol tablets vaginally if there is no bleeding by mifepristone alone. But I suggest you seek gynecologist consultation before taking these medicines as they can be dangerous and life threatening if pregnancy is located ectopic.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
Regards

For the misoprostol do I insert all four at the same time or different days. When can I take them? How many hours or days after that first pill? I am not able to get an appointment with an OBGYN until Sep or Oct. I just moved to a new state.
Brief Answer:
Better to take gynecologist consultation in emergency
Detailed Answer:
