Suggest Remedies For A Nail Scratch In Children

Question: Hello doctor ..my daughter XXXXX of 3 yr accidentally got injured ( scratch )by her mother nails, normal scratch is there no her chick..we have applied turmeric with coconut oil..please suggest if we need to apply some ointment n need to give some medicine.

Better to apply antiseptic cream

If a scratch is very small, then chances of infection are very less. However, it is better to apply an antiseptic cream.

You should apply mupirocin cream locally two times a day for three days. It comes in brand name of t-bact cream.
