Question: Hello Doctor,
I have PCOS and I am already in medication. For about a week, i have got around 5 to 6 pimples(with puss) beneath my nose and on my chin. The Pus would dry and again form on the same spot. so it isn't drying for a week. I feel very embarrassed to even face people. it looks very bad to have pimples around my mouth. I want to get rid of it, please suggest !

Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I can understand your concern but pimples are a common occurrence of PCOS.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to take capsule doxycycline 100 mg once daily and apply a gel containing combination of adapelene and benzoyl peroxide on the pimples at night for 1 hour only.
Various brands containing this combination available in the market are minoz BPO gel or epiduo gel.
Thesr are prescription drugs and should be used under the supervision of the doctor.
Besides this avoid oiling of scalp, avoid applying cold creams and cosmetics and avoid sugary foods.
