Question : I have been given a cortisone injection for an allergic reaction to mosquitos with tablets to follow for 6 days. Unfortunately the itchy is still really bad

Apply steroid cream

Shot may work just temporary. You should apply steroid and antihistaminic cream several days,apply cold compress . If there is redness spreading them it may be bacterial Infection and you would need antibiotics in this case. Wish you good health. Regards
