I've had the rash for one month.
It's only on the neck but moved briefly to an earlobe.
I'm on oral Prednisone and finished my RX today.
Rash appears a little better today but that can change quickly.
It also seems to be better after showering.
I exposed it to sunshine yesterday and it seems to have helped a little.
It's unpredictable just like a woman.
Is it contagious?
I'm uncomfortable in public because it looks like I've been choked.
Thank You

Brief Answer:
Allergic reaction.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up.
The photograph looks like an allergic reaction and hence it is not contagious.
I treat such cases with a mild steroid cream like Cortisone to be applied in night and an aloe-vera based cream to be applied in morning.
This combination works well.
Try this and let me know the results.
Thank you.
