Suggest Remedies For An Itchy Scalp With Many Pimple Like Eruptions

Question: Dear Sir, a month back I had itchy scalp and noticed multiple pimple like eruptions on my posterior scalp. A week later i felt a tiny lump on my posterior triangle neck. I have undergone USG of neck and the doctor said it's a reactive node measuring 9*5 mm. I have completed the 10 days antibiotics course of Ciplox. The node has not subsided though but nor has it enlarged. The eruptions in my scalp has subsided. I am a smoker aged 29 and do have acidity problems with occasional GERD. What concerns me most is since last two days I have developed a kind of soreness in lower throat larynx probably which is not constant. Apart from these there are no other problems. Shall i undergo a biopsy or FNAC

Brief Answer:
Additional treatment before going for FNAC
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history well and understood your concerns.
Since you have undergone a course of an antibioc but the node has not regressed and now there is additional history of soreness of throat and larynx,
It would be prudent to get the additional treatment
Which may help lymph node regression.
If the node still persists, you may then go for FNAC of the lymph node to get the probable cause.
I hope this answers your query.

Get started as early as possible.
Clicking sound in throat cartilage indicates inflammation of the cartilages also and takes time to settle in some cases because of he precarious blood supply of the cartilages.
