Suggest Remedies For Chest Pain During Coughs
Question: i have chest pains on my left upper chest only when i cough, hiccups, or burp. never when i go walking or just normal breathing??
Brief Answer:
For how long has this been going on?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about pain that you have reported. I have reviewed the information fully and this probably suggests that there is a sore muscle which is used during these episodes when the pain is provoked but not when walking. I will suggest that you monitor and tell me how long this pain has been going on. Also, what is the intensity and nature of this pain? Is it like burning in nature and how long does it last? This will help me further narrow down the possible causes and provide more specifics to you.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask of more information and clarifications if need be.

This has been going on for a couple months. But when I feel a little pain it's only for 10seconds or less?? Definately left side and about 10inches down chest
Brief Answer:
I will say there is no major reason to be concerned!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Haven't reviewed this additional information, it is really a non specific pain and not suggestive of an ongoing disease condition. I will suggest that you stay calm and only act on this further if it becomes worse.
I wish you well.
