![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: My kid is not passing on stool for 4 days at times. He is 3 months old. only breast fed.
Brief Answer:
It is normal. Continue breast feeding. Nothing else needed.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Let me assure you that for a breast fed child of this age the frequency of passage of stool does not matter. It is absolutely normal for the child to pass stool once in 10 days. It is equally normal for the child to pass stool 10 times a day or even after each feed. So long as the stool is not hard or pellet like, you need not worry and nothing needs to be done about it. Color variations from yellow, brown and green are normal too.
Do not worry. Just continue to breast feed. Nothing else needs to be done.
Regards
