Suggest Remedies For Difficulty In Breathing, Dizziness, Headache And Burning Eyes

Question: I choked early this morning on a large piece of food. I was unable to breathe at all, my eyes were bulging out and tears were coming down my face...no one was nearby and I attempted to walk away from my desk for help. I couldn't, I almost collapsed on the floor...tried to gag the food out. I did. My throat hurts, I'm dizzy still, I feel like my body and mind are on 2 different speeds like I'm on a drug. Headache, spinning, pain on my face, trouble thinking...etc. Should I worry or just rest?

Brief Answer:
This are the normal sequence of chocking food

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome
I have gone through your query

The sequence of events you told is just normal for any person who chokes onto something. Cough, respiratory distress and flushing are common symptoms noted with this.
Some minor throat irriation too , can stay there for some days.
Eat less spicy food, avoid alcohol, coffee and smoking if you do.Try to drink cool food, avoid hot food for few days.
Stay hydrated drink plenty of water. Take rest for few days. You should be good.
But yes if you get fever or face stays red for days then you should see local doctor.

Hope this help
Take care

So feeling dizzy, foggy and like my mind and body are on 2 different speeds is normal? That's my biggest concern. I think I was moments away from passing out and I feel mentally off. I've never choked like this before. I literally had no air coming in.
