Suggest Remedies For Dizziness And Weakness After Switching To Xarelto From Warfarin
Question: I was taking warfarin 8mg daily and went to xarelto 20 mg with food at night. I have been experiencing
dizziness and weakness since starting the second refill of xarelto. The only thing that has changed is going on xarelto. I am going to call my doctor Monday but want to know if I should stop taking till then. I could go back on warfarin till then. I also take simvastin 20mg,ramipril 5 mg, dofetilide 500 mg and metoprolol tartrate 100 mg
MY self check of blood pressure was 130 over 95 pulse 85 a little high but I have AFIB Ox at 96

Brief Answer:
Why did the doctor make the switch?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
I have reviewed this information and will like to know what the reasons for the switch were? Dizziness alone would not suffice to stop the drugs but if the reasons for the switch were not that mandatory, we could go back and avoid this side effect.
Let me hear from you.....and will be back with more insights.

Switched from warfarin at my request, no monthly blood work, no food restrictions
Brief Answer:
Should be easy switching back then.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It should be easy switching back then. At times, we may have to trade some of these advantages because of the side effects.
Let me know what the final decision is though am leaning more towards switching back to Warfarin.
THanks
