Suggest Remedies For Erectile Dysfunction In An Elderly Man

Question: My partner age 73 can not get an erection at all without help of a shot his doctor has prescribed for him. Then it is only about half erection.
What is going on to cause this? I'm 71 year old female very much interested in sex, he is interested but can not get a good erection.

Thanks for the query. Following should be looked in to if these drugs are not proving to be effective-
1- Is he having a prostate enlargement because it can result in ED per se?
2- Have you checked serum testosterone (Total ) with SHBG and serum Albumin? Nothing will work if testosterone is low.
3- Doses of different drugs tried should be looked in to. one may respond to a higher dose.
4- Has he been checked for other factors like kidney disease, thyroid problem, diabetes or a medicine being taken (for example high BP) may be the problem
5- Stress level or tobacco abuse
If you answer these questions, there are 70% chances he will start responding with medicines
