Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your question and can understand your concern.

Such symptoms like food regurgitation ,burping ,pressure sensation on chest or heartburn can be related to reflux of the stomach acid up into esophagus ,causing irritation and inflammation of the mucosa.
In this case diet changes, lifestyle modifications and a class of drugs called PPI,which act by decreasing the production of stomach acid ,can help.
I would suggest to avoid spicy ,fatty, acidic foods.Eat small frequent meals instead of three major meals.Pantoprazol 40 mg once at evening can help.
Considering the age of your mother ,an endoscopic examination of the upper gastrointestinal tract (Gastroscopy) can be recommended to exclude any serious cause (like malignancy of the esophagus).
Zithromax is an antibiotic and I wouldn't recommend to use it before consulting with your family physician. If your mother has cough with yellow/green sputum ,an infection of respiratory tract should be taken in consideration.Only than a therapy with antibiotic would make sense.
I would suggest to consult your family physician and get your mother examined.A detailed medical history and physical examination are necessary for proper evaluation and management.

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you have any question.I would be happy to help.

Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati
