Suggest Remedies For Frequent Urination And Pain During Pregnancy

Question: I am 14 weeks pregnant now. I have suffered with mild UTI before my pregnancy. Recently, i feel lot of pain while passing urine and frequent urination. Is alkasol syrup safe during pregnancy and what else i can take for this problem. Please help.

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you are in 14 weeks of pregnancy and have symptoms of UTI .

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cephalosporin along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkalizer thrice daily .These drugs are supposed to be safe during pregnancy

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
