Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
As you had been adequately treated for syphilis, there are no concerns regarding the complications of syphilis.
Doctors before me would have told you that syphilis is not the cause of your bad breath. I agree with them. Unless there's an active ulcer in the mouth, there would be no bad breath due to syphilis.
If you have not been to a dentist recently, have yourself checked for any mouth cause for bad breath. Another cause is a H. Pylori infection in the stomach. This can be checked by Urea breath test.
A common cause of bad breath is drying of the mouth which is often due to anxiety. Eat healthy wholesome food, exercise a minimum of 30 minutes a day, practice relaxation techniques and maintain good oral hygiene.
This will help remove the bad breath.

Hello doctor, I guess I was disappointed with your answer because I have tried everything and it is not working . Having bad breath cause me to be depressed and keep to myself. My month is in good shape, so I feel it is something internally. I used to used a lot of anti botics because I thought I had std.
My blood work looks good , so I just don't know what to do. I don't have HIV, or AIDS. pLEASE HELP

Brief Answer:
Check UBT

Detailed Answer:
Please let me know if you had a C13 Urea breath test done. If not it may be done to detect a germ in the stomach which causes bad breath. Its presence is not detected in the regular blood tests.
