I have gone through your query in detail and understand your concern.

I generally see many cases like this at my clinic and we have found that such si joint arthritis do remain for prologed period of time.
the tablets you have been taking are absolutely correct.

If you have a positive family history of any kind of arthritis, and if your blood tests are positive for arthritis, then its usually lifelong, but the pain factor will vary depending upon the quality of your bones, your overall immunity and the amount of stress you put on that joint during your daily activities.

avoid taking steroids, analgesics, use lumbosacral belt ,yoga and exercises
avoid sitting on 2 wheeler vehicles and lifting heavy weights

I hope your question has been answered.

hello,,

all the blood reports are being done and nothing is shown positive.

esr ,uric acid and all other test as told by my doctor is being done and every thing is normal...there is no family history of arthritis..

for the last one month i am doing back strengthening exercise and i am so much relived.

as i am sports person my main concern is it curable? or its a life long problem and if it is curable how much maximum time will it take to be cured..

the exact language written on mri is subtle focal bone marrow edema in subchondral area of right ala sacrum

Hi royal dhingra

Welcome back
if you have no positive history and the reports are normal. then the pain may go away in 2-3 months and if you keep the exercises regular, then you may never get the pain again.

however, keep in mind that there are 1 % chances that you may have seronegative arthropathy, in which all reports will be normal, but you will still have arthritis.

I hope your question has been answered.

Hi royal dhingra

Welcome back

seronegative - itself means "with negative report",
no blood tests can prove it. its just a clinical diagnosis
