Suggest Remedies For Intermittent Diarrhea

default
Posted on Mon, 24 Oct 2016
Question: I have had intermittent diarrhea for about 10 weeks now. It comes on suddenly and usually after eating. I've reached a point where I'm afraid to go more than about 3 miles from home. I have seen a gastro specialist. He sent me for blood work, stool exam and a CT scan. All tests came back as normal. When I saw this doctor last he didn't do any kind of a physical exam. He just read the reports and told me to give it a few more weeks and come back to see him. What can I or what should I do to help myself?

Hi.
Thanks for posting query at HCM.

Read your question thoroughly and will try to answer in the best of my capacity.

Firstly, you need not worry as all test came out normal.

Secondly, to improve your health concern (intermittent diarrhea) - advice:
- decrease intake of dairy products
- decrease intake of food rich in fiber
- avoid refrigerated food , canned food and junk food altogether
- add plain yogurt to your meals
- ingest "one" banana daily
- do not eat mouth full/ stomach full
- drink cleaner water

Hope this will help.
Any other questions are mostly welcomed.
