I Do not know why a very important anti-tubercular drug called Rifampicin has not been included in his TB treatment. It is an essential component of any TB treatment regimen unless there's a specific reason for not giving it.
Treatment for TB is minimum for 6 months and may have to be increased depending on patient's response. It should be given under regular supervision of a Pulmonologist.
His blood sugar control is inadequate. Either the dose of insulin has to be adjusted or some more anti diabetic medicines have to be added . For this, you must consult his physician or his endocrinologist.
