Brief Answer:
Irritant reaction to hydroquinone

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have reviewed the attached photographs.
The hydroquinone recommended to you for lightening of spots was fine.
I think you have developed an irritant reaction to the hydroquinone.
Either you have applied in large amounts or in large areas.
It has to be applied in very minute amounts on the brown spots at night along with application of a broad spectrum sunscreen during the day time.
It is not very serious but take few days to settle.
Now you stop the application of hydroquinone.
Instead take antihistaminic like tablet Loratidine 10 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of irritation and itching.
You can also use a mild steroid like cortisone cream on the red areas twice daily for 5-7 days along with a moisturising cream on the entire face 2-3 times in a day.
This will resolve the red lesions and the itching.

Dr Asmeet

I have one more question, 2 days back i went to saloon and had my waxing done for first time in life, but now there are red marks and bumps on my leg and arms photos attached.. Can you please suggest any medication for this??? Its itching also , but there is no pain unless im going in sunlight or near a heated area.... Please suggest non irritant cream as my skin is prone to irritation to some creams..... And how much time its going to take to heal completly ???

Brief Answer:
Seems to be folliculitis, apply steroid antibiotic combination

Detailed Answer:
Hi
According to your complaints it seems you have developed folliculitis.
Waxing can lead to traction folliculitis.
It is usually treated by application of a mild steroid antibiotic combination like beclomethasone fusidic acid cream on the affected areas twice daily for 8-10 days along with antihistaminic like tablet levocetrizine 5 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
It should normally resolve in 10 days.
