Question: One side of Jaw hurts- from ear to jaw. Hard to open mouth wide to look at throat. No temperature. not swollen. can bite down, no teeth/mollar pain. Opening is the problem

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

It looks like you have some problem with the jaw joint.
It can be probably dislocated jaw joint..
So my suggestion is to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated.
A Panoramic x ray should be done to rule out the exact cause.
For now you should take painkillers and muscle relaxants.
Take soft diet.
Avoid opening the mouth too wide with force on your own..
