Brief Answer:
On average 5 years survival rate

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma'am , I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns.. The survival rate after a liver transplantion surgery is estimated to be five years on average.. However, liver transplantation is a complicated procedure that requires extensive testing to ensure the transplanted liver is a perfect match.. Transplantation surgery generally takes 4 - 10 hours and patients usually stay in the hospital for up to 3 weeks after the surgery. Most patients return to normal or near-normal activities after 6 - 12 months following the transplant. patients need to take immunosuppressive medication to prevent rejection and this shall continue for life.. It has been proved that surgery improves the quality of love of end stage liver disease.. I hope you find this helpful..
