Question: what is the best way to have a mole removed? Laser or surgery or another way?

Laser is preferable because of better cosmesis

Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr. Kakkar(dermatologist).

A laser which specifically targets pigmented nevus cells e.g Q switched Nd:YAG Or Q switched XXXXXXX laser is a much better option than a surgical procedure because of better cosmesis.
A surgical procedure may leave a disfiguring scar whereas the scar by a laser is usually cosmetically superior.
