Question : I had a flouroscope cortsisone injection into my hip 6 days ago. Twenty four hours later I started hicupping six days later they have not stopped. What are the remidies?
Brief Answer:
I will encourage you to continue valium and let this effect wear off!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Steroids predispose to hiccups as the nerves become easily excitable. It will certainly wear off as more time passes and the concentration drops. We can only suppress this with valium at this time. I encourage you to do so and consider stopping valium a week from today by tapering off the dosage progressively.
Hope I have answered your query.
I wish you well.
