Question: Hi, I've had cosmetic surgery to remove extra fat. There is now redness/swelling around all the wounds. Am taking Levofloxacin but it's getting worse. Help
Hi, i've had cosmetuc surgery to remove skin now all the wounds have become red and swelling and shooting pains mainly on the nipples. I'm on levofloxacin ans sulfameth/trimethroprim but the redness is still spreading. What can I do?

The operation was done 14 days ago. No wounds are open. All symptons showed 5 days ago and sre gradually getting worse

There might be pus inside which needs to be drained.
I really doubt if levofloxacin and sulfmeth/trimethoprim will be effective without surgical evaluation.
You must meet your surgeon as soon as possible. If there is a collection indeed, it needs to be drained.
