Can mild headache be the cause of allergic rhintis? XPNS Xray is useful or not ?
Suggestions on allergic rhinitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi.... Greetings from XXXXXXX I will answer your two queries first and then go ahead with my other suggestions regarding allergic rhinitis.
1. Allergic rhinitis cannot cause headache at such an young age.
2. Usually all the PNS or paranasal sinuses are formed by only 7 years of age completely. So taking an xray PNS at this age is not useful.
Coming to my other suggestions on allergic rhinitis -
By what you quote e I feel that your niece is having moderate to severe persistent allergic rhinitis. Nowadays the best course of action and medication is to give intranasal steroid like fluticasone or mometasone as a regular therapy for 4-8 weeks.
I suggest you consult a paediatric allergist or your pediatrician regarding this because this is a prescription medicine and the technique also has to be taught for the people who are administering the medication.

Lastly, what could be the reason of headache which gets away in 30 minutes maximum. Again no other related complains
Thanks again
