Suggest Remedies For Severe Panic Attack

Question: I took 40mg of Oxycodone 1 hour ago(4pm) I am having a panic attack and I am wondering if I can take some of my medicine right now for panic attacks? I have 1mg Xanax and 1mg Ativan. wjich of these will be better with the Oxycodone? please help as my panic attack is getting very severe.

Hello, and thanks for your question.

It would be perfectly safe and very reasonable to take Ativan 1mg right now. I would avoid taking the Xanax as this medication does not last very long and can lead to rebound panic attacks. This is my suggestion for you. You will feel better!
