Brief Answer:
Surgical treatment is best option,in relief of phimosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your concern.
If the phimosis is severe, you're advised to undergo a circumcision.
That will relieve your pain and burning symptoms.
This will be a permanent relief for your symptoms.
There is no permanent non-surgical, treatment for phimosis.
Wish you well.

Thank you Dr XXXXXXX for the quick response. Sir, I have a follow-up question on the procedure itself. Will I have to be admitted in a hospital/clinic for the surgical procedure? If yes, what is the duration of hospitalization? Post surgery, will I need any rest?
Brief Answer:
circumcision is a routine surgery.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Circumcision is a day case procedure, in most Urology centers.
It's usually done under local anesthesia.
That means the patient is discharged on the same day.
After surgery, you'll be advised to take rest for a few days,up to a week.
Wish you good health.
