Brief Answer:
Today shoulder rest and painkillers.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

First, your wife should rest her shoulder and should use painkillers such ibuprofen.

When you get home, she needs to be examined further clinically and by tests such x-rays and nerve conduction study of the affected arm to evaluate any local shoulder traumatic damage of tendons, muscles and any nerve damage.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
