Suggest Remedies For Severe Stress Caused By Workplace Pressure

Question: 1.A week ago there was a small accident took place in my office. I was present there.
2. How ever I had a narrow escape. Even no body injured. No much destruction occurred.
3.I had committed small mistake while carrying out the work.
4. One way it was positive that due to that big loss was automatically avoided. However some people are blaming that if that mistake would not be done then they s mishap would never occur.
5. I am in a very distressed stage. My image in the company was very hard working and perfectionist .in that completion of target only and in a hurry , little mistake ocuured.
6. My boss did not fire me at all. But definitely may b thinking worst abt it.
Pl give me some consultation so that I will regain my intensity of working again.

Dear first of all I would like to tell that small accidents and mishapps happen everywhere and are unpredictable and human being is bound to do mistakes but at the same time tends to have courage to forget it go ahead.

Since you have already good image in company and if your boss knows your value then he would understand that you did not do it delibrately.Dont compel yourself thinking about it that why did it happen.You are perfectionist but at the same time human too ,so mistake can happen and your boss also knows it.

I would suggest give some time to your self and do your work as usual , and focus on your targets with heart and soul ,as the time will pass ,no one even care to remember that.

Thx for quick reply.
I have found some changes in myself since last year.
1. I feel that my brain is always full of thoughts.I donot feel relaxed even in the morning.
2. I m running47, when compare myself at the time of 10 years back,I feel my confidence is reduced. I m more sensitive . I work as mentioned in the office with full energy. But still feel to b tired.
3. I keep thinking many events back of the mind. For eg. Above incidence is not going out of the mind.
4. I feel more envy about progress of colleagues. May b
in any office , situation is same ,but I feel my boss neglects me (not because of this incidence) ,but as usual.
5. Can u tell me how to cope up with boss and how to forget the thoughts?
6. Earlier when my son was in 10th std. I was well involved in his studies. But since this year though I can take up his studies, I don't take much interest in it .I feel my concentration leval is reduced.
Pl suggest the remedy.

Dear I can understand your concern. I have gone through your history and concluded that self help would be the best help. Since office stress is very common now a days and it all depends on one self that what he/she actually needs in life.

I would suggest compare your problem with the others who are not as happy as you are .

Also talking with your Boss in detail on right time will surely help. Envying about other will just give harm but no gain so better focus on your work and take care of your position. You will get the result on right time.

Also spending quality time with family members and visiting your favourite places will boost up energy and self strength.

Apart from this seeking counselling form professional counsellor in person might help and if anything does not help then anti anxiety medicines can be taken after discussing with the counsellor.

1. What are the measures to reduce the stress ?
2. Can these be the perimenopausal condition?
3. How one can prevent the thoughts coming in mind?
4. Actually I m lucky that all of us were safe in this mishap. But feel guilty.
5.how to make up the mind so that I could leave the thought of guilt? How to be a professional? And more over right now in the office I m courageous but after and before going there I feel nervous. As if all my colleagues are happy because I m safe.
Very much confused. Will giving time for self b a remedy on this

To reduce the stress , daily light walk, yoga and listening light music could help . Also doing whatever makes you happy, whether in form of new hobby or visiting new places may also help.

It is not necessary that every woman undergoing premenopausal stage get stress symptoms but it can be one of the factors due to the hormonal changes.

For that getting blood estrogen , progesterone and thyroid hormones level done and discussing with the gynaecologist can help to rule out the cause.

To avoid thinking about one thing and guilt , self-help is the best remedy .
Ask yourself to avoid thinking about that particular thing and ignore if something bothers you.

Otherwise you may seek help by counselling sessions and anti-anxiety medicines as per need.
