These white spots probably represent vitiligo, nut it needs confirmation through microscopic .
Your earlier episodes of sore throat are not related to this .

Hello, how are these checked through microscopic I have a doctors appointment tomorrow with our primary physician. Can these spread everywhere? How can I prevent these from spreading, will my skin go back to normal I am really scared please give me your insight, I was told to put tumeric paste as natural healer. Could this be also because of malnutrition, I had my blood work done 2 months ago and my vitamin D was extremely severely low at number 6. The scale was 9.5 - 55.00, I am thinking due to this It could be a cause.
Thank you so much for your help, awaiting your reply

Brief Answer:
Steroid creams can help to reduce these spots
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.
These spots are neither contagious nor they spread to other body parts.
They can be visualized under UV microscope for better delineation.
Corticosteroid creams will help to prevent their enlargement and aid in their resolution.
Malnutrition do contribute to these spots occasionally.
Your Vitamin D levels are extremely low and they need immediate correction.
I generally prescribe to my patients with oral pills of TAYO K one pill once a week for 6 weeks followed by maintainance doses for 3 months.
Please check with your if he shares my view and if can prescribe these pills to you.
Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Hello, Dr. XXXXXXX I went to the doctor today and he stated it is Vitiligo but said to confirm to do biopsy. I did not feel comfortable doing biopsy, is that what you meant when going under microscope? I was wrong about the 2-3 months, I remember now I had small white spot last year, please advise what I should do I was reading on applying turmeric and changing diet, the doctor here I consulted said that it doesn't matter it might spread or might not, I did not feel comfortable with him because we was not very clear, I never met this doctor before it was the first time. I am worried about it spreading, how I can prevent this from spreading if it is what the doctor is claiming, I spoke with family back home in XXXXXXX and my mother told me that my uncle had this, but both my parents do not.
