Suggest Remedies For Swollen Gland On Left Side Of Throat

push fluids, motrin or tylenol
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
It is most likely that you have a viral infection and you need to push fluids and take motrin or tylenol for the sore throat. Warm salt water gargles, throat lozenges or a teaspoon of honey can also be quite soothing to the throat. There are also some throat sprays that can decrease throat pain like Chloraseptic.
If you develop fevers and pus on your tonsils you may have strep throat. In that case you would need to see a doctor for a strep test and to get a prescription for antibiotics if your strep test is negative.
Viral infections usually resolve in 7-10 days. Get plenty of rest and if you are not getting better then see a doctor.
I hope you are better soon.
