Suggest Remedies For Withdrawal Symptoms Of Diazepam
Question: I have social anxiety attacks and have been taking Lorazepam 2xdaily 5mg
for 1 year. Recently had severe pain with bulging disks in neck. Doctor switched me to diazepam 4x daily. With physical theraphy severe pain is gone mostly. I am trying to stop using pain meds but now I have headces , dizziness and awful feeling. 3 years ago The doctor had me on z sertraline 1xdaily. What can I do now. Withdrawal is killing me!!!

The treatment of anxiety and pain is best accomplished with an SNRI antidepressant such as Effexor or Cymbalta. I would stay away from painkillers like tramadol and benzodiazepines like Xanax/Lorazepam/Diazepam, because these are addictive and over time actually increase anxiety and pain. I would talk to your doctor about switching from Zoloft to Cymbalta, and about avoiding opioids and benzodiazepines.

Since right now my pain is minor with the physical therapy and advil, will the Cymbalta be best just for my anxiety
