Brief Answer:
For your age, 148/94 at some point of time,is high.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
let me help with your question. The present cut off for labeling someone as hypertensive (High BP) is 140/90 on 3 different occasions. For your age, 148/94 at some point of time,is high.
I think at the moment, you do not require medications. The most important area to focus is your food. you should reduce your daily salt intake. avoid foods rich in sodium(salt) like pickles, chips, fries etc. Take foods rich in potassium like fruits and vegetables. As your doctor told, exercise is very important for loosing salt through sweat and burn calories. Try these for next one month and have your BP rechecked. you should be fine. all the best.

Dr according to my readongs can i eat brown rice simultaneous im walimg daily one hr. Is coconut water. Orange juice.. good.... Dr. Consuming warm water with lemon empty stomach is it good or bad.. like wise garlic may of them say it is good bit i dony know???
Brief Answer:
DON'T eat too much
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sorry for delayed response. Yes coconut water is rich in potassium, which helps in BP lowering, citrus fruit juices also have fiber, good for your weight. Lemon water on empty stomach has no medical basis to recommend, moreover, it can result in chest burning if you have stomach ulcers. So i do not vote for it. Garlic is good for heart but make sure you DON'T eat too much or on empty stomach or uncooked one.
HOPE THIS CLARIFIED YOUR DOUBTS.
