Brief Answer:
It can be normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

It is common. But not always normal. 5 days is very short after the surgery. So any abdominal pain can be considered as normal.
However pain after such surgery can be also due to some complications including liquid collection in the area where the gallbladder was present. Fluid collection can also cause fever and accelerated heart rate. If you have any of this symptoms please consult your doctor and have an ultrasound done.

If the pain is sharp, and gets worse when breathing and less intense when the chest is not moving, you can wait with it. Try to take some painkiller like Ibuprofen and take a hot bath. If this wont help, than consult your surgeon.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
